Beginning of Summer 2026 Ranch Update
Mentor Children, Strengthen Families, Share Hope, Inspire Service
Dear Friends of Guided Hope Ranch,
As summer begins at the ranch, we are filled with gratitude for all God has been doing through this ministry and the many people who help make it possible!
We are continually reminded that none of this ministry happens alone. From our Wranglers and Barn Team to Ranch Hands and behind-the-scenes volunteers, so many faithful people serve tirelessly to care for animals, repair fences, prepare spaces, welcome guests, and create opportunities for hope and healing on the ranch. Whether their work is visible or unseen, every act of service matters, and we are deeply thankful for each person who gives their time and energy to Guided Hope.
If you would like to get more involved, find more information about volunteering in our volunteer tab.
Kids & Kritters Round-ups
This spring has also been full of wonderful Kids & Kritters days at the ranch. We have loved welcoming children and families to experience ranch life together; meeting animals, helping with chores, asking thoughtful questions, and learning about caring well for God’s creation. These days are always a reminder of the joy and wonder that come from slowing down, spending time outdoors, and sharing the love of God in simple but meaningful ways.
Hope Trail Update!!!!
One exciting update is that the Hope Trail is officially reopened! After a great deal of hard work clearing paths and setting up trail obstacles, our team was able to bring this special space back to life for guests to enjoy throughout the summer. We are especially grateful for Riley Bird, one of our wranglers, who shared, “I love serving at Guided Hope because even the small ways we help can create significant experiences in others’ lives.” We look forward to all the peaceful rides, confidence-building adventures, and meaningful moments that will take place on the trail this season.
SERVICE DAYS
We are also grateful for groups who have come alongside us in service projects this spring.
One example was an incredible group from Trail Life USA who helped repair arena fence posts and rails. Their servant hearts and teamwork made a huge impact, and we would love to welcome more groups looking for meaningful opportunities to serve at the ranch.
We also had Resurrection Christian Middle School come out and help with so many different projects on the ranch! We were so grateful for all they did for us.
MORE FUN ON THE RANCH...
Another highlight this past month was hosting 30 young adults from the Denver area for a special evening of fellowship and community. The night included time with the horses and baby goats, a shared meal, worship around the fire, and meaningful connection with one another. We love seeing friendships grow and faith deepen through gatherings like these.
We have had an incredible season of Wrangler trainings this spring, and we are excited to continue welcoming more volunteers who are interested in serving at the ranch. If you or someone you know would like to get involved, we would love to connect with you.
SUMMER PROGRAMMING
We’re so grateful for the incredible response to our summer programming this year! At this time, our Round-Ups are officially full for the summer. However, we encourage you to sign up for our waitlists, as spots may become available throughout the season.
We do still have availability for families to join our Foster Family Round-Up on June 27, and we would love to welcome you out to the ranch for this special day together.
BERTHOUD DAY
We’d also love to see you at Berthoud Day! Join us at Berthoud Town Park as we celebrate our community — Guided Hope will be in the parade and enjoying the festivities afterward. Be sure to come say hello!
Save the Dates
Mark your calendars for these upcoming events at Guided Hope. We would love for you to join us!
Fall Fest on the Ranch – October 3
Join us for a day at the ranch; meet the animals, visit with the team, and enjoy fellowship for a great cause.
The Live Nativity – December 6
Experience the Christmas story come to life at the ranch with live animals, worship, and cocoa, cookies, and fellowship to follow.
At the heart of everything we do is the mission God has given us: to mentor children, strengthen families, share hope, and inspire service. Using farm chores, livestock education, country fun, and the love of Jesus, we see this lived out daily in simple moments that matter deeply.
As Psalm 25:4–5 reminds us,
“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
Thank you for being part of the Guided Hope community. We’re looking forward to a meaningful summer ahead!
